Ranjan Ramanayake states government did not show anxiety to save Rizana[ Wednesday, 29 June 2011, 01:35.29 PM GMT +05:30 ]United National Party Parliament Member and Actor Ranjan Ramanayake had mentioned that government did not show much anxiety to save Rizana Nafeek who was given death sentence in Saudi Arabia. Government did not have the back bone to directly involved in this issue was alleged by him.Due to the inefficiency of Government, Rizana’s problem was decided to take as an international issue was mentioned by him. While he attended the protest in the aim of gathering support to release Rizana he made this statement.
