Sri Lanka�s central bank said it will allow China�s currencyto be used in international transactions at authorized banks. Permitting the use of the Yuan in banking transactions willfacilitate trade and investment between the two countries, the Central Bank ofSri Lanka said in a statement. The central bank also allows international bankingtransactions in 13 other foreign currencies. The other currencies in thedesignated list are Australian Dollar, Canadian Dollar, Danish Kroner, Euro,Hong Kong Dollar, Japanese Yen, New Zealand Dollar, Norwegian Kroner, PoundSterling, Singapore Dollar, Swedish Kroner, Swiss Franc and United StatesDollar.
