Protest in Colombo to release Rizana[ Wednesday, 29 June 2011, 01:42.05 PM GMT +05:30 ]A protest was held in Colombo to immediately release Nafeek who is charged of death sentence by Saudi Arabia.The protest was held in front of the Saudi Arabian Embassy located in Colombo.Central Provincial Council Member Shanthini Kohoengey while addressing the protest said, all should get together and release Rizana Nafeek. Meanwhile Sri lankan government will appoint a panel to hold discussions with Saudi Government to release Rizana Nafeek. Such advancements were initiated by the Sri Lankan government and opposition parties after an unconfirmed news published that the verdict to sentence Rizana Nafeek has been confirmed. < submit_url = '';
