This decision came about after University lecturershad pulled out of A/L paper marking based on various unanswered demands made tothe government. The CTSU claimed that the government�s inaction on thesematters could severely affect the future of the students. Jayasinghe stated that as the standard ofpaper marking cannot be guaranteed without the help of the university lecturersand in view of the future well-being of Lankan students, the teachers in thecountry will not be willing to come forward for paper marking. Strike is not the solution to your problems. Need to find some other method. Thees strikes hurts everybody in this country. Samson
