Bookmark and Share Sri Lanka beat England in the second One Day International at Leeds by 69 runs after bowling England out for 240 runs. Sri Lanka was put into bat first and posted a total of 309/5 with Mahela Jayawardena scoring 144 runs.

England demolish Sri Lanka in first ODI

England won the first One-Day Internationalagainst Sri Lanka by 110 runs in a rain delayed match where England posted atotal of 229 for 8 in their allotted 32 overs.

 

James Anderson picked up four wickets for18 runs off his five overs while Craig Kieswetter top scored for England with61 runs.
