New IGP to assume his duty

New IGP to assume his duty[ Monday, 04 July 2011, 04:24.05 AM GMT +05:30 ]IGP N.K.Ilankaoon will assume his duty as the new Inspector General of Police this morning.

According to the sources Ilankakoon will be the 33rd IGP of Sri-Lankan police.

Special occasion was organize to welcome the new IGP, source said.

After assuming the duty new IGP is schedule to meet the media personals.
