Pedestrian dies after collision with a lorry

A pedestrian was killed after being hit by a lorry on theTissa-Matara main road in Ambalantota, Police stated. Following the incident,the victim was rushed to the Ambalantota Hospital where he died upon arrival.

 

The 52 year old victim was a resident of Vanduruppa whilepolice stated that the driver of the lorry had been arrested and will beproduced at the Hambantota Magistrates Court.
