Legal advice to north and east people

Legal advice to north and east people[ Monday, 04 July 2011, 04:01.42 PM GMT +05:30 ]Sinhala media has published a news item that the native people of north and east will be provided with legal advice. Sri Lankan Legal Advisory Commission informed the affected people by war in the north and east will be given legal advice on free basis.

In the aim of providing legal advice, approximately 61 centers are originated in the north and east. Already five centers have commenced its functions. After the resettlement activities are accomplish, the daily problems faced by the resettled people will be settled, and on this objective such activities will be  processed was stated. In regard to land rights including many issues, divisional people are waiting for legal advice.

Special security arrangements to obstruct illegal intrude by Indian fishermen. 

Special security arrangements are advanced to obstruct illegal entry of Indian fishermen to Sri Lankan sea area. In the aim of protecting the Sri Lankan sea region, such security arrangements are processed. 

By targeting Kankesanthurai, security arrangements are made was mentioned by Coastal Line Security division Director Riyad Admiral Daya Tharmapriya. Special security arrangements are advanced in the aim of obstructing Indian fisherman intruding Sri Lankan sea waters, for which navy personnel’s coordination has been obtained was mentioned.
